I have been involved with Akitas for approximately 18 years now. My first Akita was a female that we purchased mainly for a companion. During her training we decided to show her in conformation. Once that decision had been made I was hooked. My very first home bred litter resulted in a dog that I showed extensively in Canada and the United States. Although I don't breed a lot of litters I have had some outstanding puppies that have done well both in Canada and the United States. I generally breed one litter per year trying always to keep the breed standard in mind and to preserve that wonderful temperament in all of the pups that I produce. As we all know not every pup is a "show pup" but my babies make excellent pets as well. All of my breeding stock is OFA certified to ensure that you get the very best.
